2. NYPD Fatally Shot By Person With 21 Prior Arrests - National Review
New York Police Officer Jonathan Diller was tragically murdered earlier this week by an alleged gunman with 21 prior arrests. Prior charges included first-degree robbery, illegal gun possession, and selling drugs to undercover police. He was also charged with two felony assaults and possession of a controlled substance.
3. Jon Stewart Overvalued His Home Amid Outrage Against Trump For Same Practice - New York Post
Comedian Jon Stewart went on a rant about how Donald Trump allegedly inflating his real-estate properties was “not victimless.” The New York Post uncovered that Jon Stewart engaged in the same “not victimless” activity when he inflated his property.
Stewart sold his New York City penthouse for 829% more than its assessed value. In 2014, Stewart had a 6,280-square-foot Tribeca duplex that he sold for $17.5 million. However, according to a 2014 assessor record of the property, it was only estimated to be $1.82 million.
