1. New York City Council Begs Court To Allow Non-Citizens To Vote - New York Post

The New York City Council asked the state’s highest court to allow non-citizen immigrants to vote in city elections. In 2021, the City Council signed a law that would’ve allowed non-citizens to vote. At the time, Mayor Bill de Blasio signed it into law, but a court struck it down as unconstitutional. The Council is pleading with the appellate court to reverse its decision ahead of the 2024 election. 

2. Feds Ordered Google To Unmask Anonymous YouTube Viewers - Forbes 

The federal government ordered Google to unmask certain YouTube users if they watched certain videos on the social media giant. The government told Google to provide the names, addresses, telephone numbers, and user activity for all Google accounts who watched a certain YouTube video, but the YouTube video had 30,000 views. So, the federal government asked for the information of 30,000 people. 

It’s unclear whether Google complied with the federal government. 

3. Kamala Harris Claps As Puerto Rican Group Mocks Her In Spanish - Oli London

Kamala Harris can be seen in a now-viral video clapping along as a Puerto Rican group sang a song mocking her in Spanish. Her aide had to stop her from clapping and inform her it wasn’t a nice song they were singing.

4. Biden Signed Bill Prohibiting Pride Flags At US Embassies - Daily Caller

Biden signed a funding bill that prohibits the pride flag from flying at US Embassies worldwide. Biden signed this $1.2 trillion government funding bill that tells US Embassies they can’t fly pride flags anymore. 

5. Lego Blocks Police From Using Toy Heads To Skirt New Woke Law - New York Post

Lego asked a California police department to stop adding Lego heads to suspects’ faces in digital lineups. The Murrieta Police Department in California is required by a new, woke law to protect offenders’ rights, meaning the police department can’t put out a suspect's face. Instead, they put out the suspects with Lego faces over their actual faces. 

The state of California passed a bill prohibiting the release of mugshots and booking photos of those accused of nonviolent crimes. Lego didn’t like that the plastic figureheads were being used by police.
