It’s Tuesday, January 3, and these are the five underreported stories that you need to know.
If you turn on mainstream news today all anyone can talk about is whether Kevin McCarthy is going to be Speaker of the House or not, and may I suggest that no one gives a s**t?
I don’t care who is going to sit there and say “no” to Joe Biden’s agenda, but I certainly do care that plenty of newsworthy stories are getting pushed out of the news because of Republican in-fighting over something that makes little impact on Americans.
Let’s get into it…
1. Transgender Boxing Category Coming In 2023 - The Daily Wire
The World Boxing Council announced that it’s creating a separate category for transgender fighters in 2023. Biological women will still not be allowed to box against biological men. Instead, the category will allow transgender women to fight transgender women and transgender men to fight transgender men.
Which seems pointless.
2. TIME Magazine Roasted For Article Claiming Exercise Has Racist Origins - New York Post
TIME Magazine is being — justifiably — mocked for an article that claims there are “white supremacist origins” to exercise. The article claims that women began weightlifting and strength training because racists wanted white women to build up their strength to produce more white babies.
3. Texas Uses Shipping Containers To Build Border Wall - The Daily Wire
Shipping containers are being placed on the southern border in Texas as floods of immigrants attempt to cross into the U.S. illegally. The spike in illegal immigration comes as the Biden administration hopes to end a policy, commonly called Title 42, that allows the border patrol to turn away migrants to stop the spread of COVID-19. Title 42 was used more than 2.5 million times to expel migrants since it was implemented under President Donald Trump.
4. MSNBC Host “Shocked And Appalled” Her Kids Passed On COVID Boosters - Daily Caller
An MSNBC host said she was “shocked and appalled” that her 16 and 22-year-old kids did not take a COVID booster. The kids said they “had enough vaccines and [they] don’t think [they] need them.”
